Current bugs, limitations and work still in progress.
This page tracks features that are incomplete, changing or likely to be replaced. It is updated as the beta progresses.
Status badges in the software
Some features carry a WIP badge, a recycle icon or a trash can icon. They are still being worked on, will be replaced by a different feature, or will be removed in a future release.
Planned feature changes
- Simple Scene Control will be replaced by a better way to control scenes.
- Scene step editing will get a property matrix for direct value editing.
- A fixture creator is planned. For now custom fixtures are written as JSON, see Create a Custom Fixture.

Effects

Inputs and outputs
- DMX input is not supported yet.
- USB DMX interfaces are not selectable yet. Art-Net and sACN work.
- MIDI devices do not reconnect on their own. After a disconnect, restart the app or clear and re-pick the input and output device.
- MIDI device definitions cannot be saved or loaded. They live in the kernel config, so moving a show to another computer means copying that file too.
Script View
- Not ideal yet
- I may add another mode later where you can open a PDF document and overlay audio and light cues directly in the document
- Importing PDFs
Other
- The software is not optimized for touch yet.
